On March 17 we will celebrate the 150th anniversary of the d 'Italy. But like all things Italian, a unique opportunity, if not decades, among others, are going lost, stifled by the "if" and "buts".
Schools opened or closed schools? Workplaces open or closed? Complete closure, partial closure?
And many have already consulted the calendar: will be a Thursday, so who will and who will be tried by a "bridge" ...
But leaving aside the human weakness of a pleasant day with no work commitments, I have the impression that the choice between commemoration in a solemn tone or a minor resulting from poisons much crawling.
Some would exploit the opportunity to point out that Italy is anything but united and that there are situations and reality very different from region to region.
E 'undeniable, we are full of problems, occupation, the waste disposal services, health, education efficiency ... with data very different from region to region, ranging excellence at the rear.
And there are those who consider the economic damage that a day of closure of factories and business lead ...

This is not fact.
If Italy is not as united as we would like, the sesquicentennial could and should be an occasion for reflection and reaffirmation of the will to really run things and to feel all one people.
The Risorgimento was a historic moment, maybe even a little 'mythologized, but gave us a geographical unit and an identity that had been lost in time.
We have not yet fully recovered ... All the more reason to express the will of the Italians to "rise" again and this time pretty well ...
